It truly is a creative crew here at UMM and every week someone is doing something that blows my mind inside and outside of office.

This month it’s our Digital Technician, Adam Forster, who has broken new ground with his extra curricular activities and this is no hobby people. Adam has been in the music industry for many years and has been touring around the country smashing up clubs and rocking festivals with his band Doctor Werewolf (pictured here with bandmate Andrew Bell). And I mean they literally destroy venues, as their audience goes so wild thrashing out to Adam’s extreme MC skills and dubstep beats, that venues do not always survive.

For those of you who think you have not delved into the world of Dubstep, you probably already have without you knowing it. This relatively new genre of music is taking the world by storm and is hitting the airwaves now in mainstream mediums including the advertising world.

This blog however is to celebrate Adam’s achievement, which is the release ofMinistry of Sound: Sound of Dubstep vol. 3“. Doctor Werewolf and Bar9 (UK) recently mixed this compilation and it is literally flying off the shelves. Doctor Werewolf included 5 productions of their own on the disc and the rest were their mixes of noted Australian and International producers.

Is it good you ask? Well the stats speak for themselves. The compilation peaked at #1 on the iTunes Dance Albums AU chart and has been holding steady at #2 for the rest of the time, right behind fellow dubstep guru Skrillex. They entered the ARIA Compilation Chart at #7 and the most recent news is that Doctor Werewolf hosted the guest DJ set last friday afternoon on Triple J! You can now stream it from their soundcloud account HERE.

So all I can say is Doctor Werewolf is killer! Buy this album on iTunes, see a Gig and hold on to your seat when you listen to these guys!
