UMM are sending our thoughts and well wishes to our friends, colleagues, family, clients and all other people in Queensland affected by the devastating floods.

Your strength of spirit as a collective community is truly admirable during a time of such hardship and we wish you, and the state of QLD a hasty recovery.

Reading this morning that the area covered in water was the size of France and Germany combined, certainly puts the enormity of this natural disaster into perspective. It really is unbelievable and only those experiencing the floods first-hand know the true effect of the damage; materialistically, environmentally and emotionally.

We would also like to take this opportunity to mention the spectacular job the Queensland media have done and continue to do, working around the clock to deliver the country and the world constant updates as the disaster unfolded – often without overtime paid and many effected themselves. Congratulations.
