UMM’s newly launched, PNG-focused international affiliate company UMM PNG was launched to prominent sections of PNG’s business community after it was praised by the Governor of Papua New Guinea’s Reserve Bank at a gala event in Port Moresby to mark its 40th Anniversary.
One of UMM PNG’s clients is Bank of Papua New Guinea, which is the central bank of PNG. We are nearing completion on building the Bank’s new website, which was previewed to special guests at Royal Papuan Yacht club in Port Moresby on the 2nd of November.
Special guests invited to celebrate the 40th anniversary included former Governors of the Bank in Sir Wilson Kamit and Sir Henry ToRobert.
Sir Henry ToRobert is the longest serving Governor of any reserve bank in the Commonwealth, serving 20 years as Governor of Bank of the PNG.
There was a televised address and congratulatory remarks by the former Governors of the Bank of PNG including Sir Mekere Morata. It was humbling to receive special mention in a keynote address by current Bank of PNG Governor, Loi Bakani, praising UMM for this outstanding and newly created website.
Though the website is not yet live, a special preview was given to VIP guests. The website captivated the attention of all present who were delighted by the polished new and improved design.
