Social media this and social media that.  It’s the buzz phrase of the moment…facebooktwitteryoutubefoursquare. Everyone is riding the social media wave…but what does that mean for us? At UMM we have a wide range of clients with varying needs of PR, but at the end of the day, it’s about getting their product or service into the hands of the people who want and need it.  Social media is just another avenue to do this.

The more you know, the more you can do. Your favourite charity is having a fundraiser, how will you contribute if you don’t know about it?  Your best friend needs a shoulder to cry on, how will help if you don’t know?  These connections, whatever they may be, will only become more important the more people connect online.  It’s all about the message and if you never see it, how will you know?
